Palazzo Lantieri is situated in the historic centre of Gorizia: a visit to this historical dwelling is a unique experience. Its rooms were frequented by royal and literary figures (Goethe, Goldoni, Casanova) and are now open to those who want the experience of being seduced by their timeless charm. Hospitality, elegance and comfort: these are the words which characterize Palazzo Lantieri and its Park. It was built in the 14th century to guard the south-western entrance to the city. Alterations were carried out to enlarge and adorn it, resulting in its transformation from fortress into the noble dwelling. Today, Palazzo Lantieri offers a unique version of this inherited tradition: in the two large reception rooms are installations by some of the best artists of the international avantgarde.
