1st day
Guests arrive in the province of Gorizia and settle in the selected bed&wine, a typical rural winery with rooms in the heart of famous Collio wine region.
Guided tour with wine tasting in the winery. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day
After breakfast visit of Gorizia, the border town, where now you can walk with one foot in Italy and the other in Slovenia and where some of the key events in The First World War took place. Visit to the castle and Lunch in a restaurant with regional products.
After lunch visit to the little town of Cormons and guided tour with tasting in a cheese factory. Return to the bed & wine for dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day
After breakfast visit to a winery in the Karst wine region, close to the town of Sagrado. Visit to the vineyards, the park dotted with cypresses and age-old oaks and to the Renaissance Villa. Vertical wine tasting (different vintages of the same wine type) with the producer. After lunch, visit to the open-air Museum of Mt. San Michele, where thanks to an easy trail suitable for everyone, you can discover monuments and structures built on the four heights of this karstic hill during the Great War. Starting from the esplanade near the small Museum of the Great war, to the Gun tunnel of the Third Army, a large underground structure used by the Italian Army.
